Installation & Design The Mocal Oil Coolers are designed to be installed in areas where ample airflow can be achieved, typically the front section of the vehicle near the radiator. This allows the cooler to draw in surrounding ambient air, which then passes over the oil channels within the cooler, effectively dissipating heat and cooling the oil as it circulates through the system. The oil is supplied via pipes connected to the engine, typically via a sandwich plate that sits between the engine block and the oil filter. Customization & Capacities Our Mocal Oil Coolers come in two matrix widths: 115mm and 235mm. The overall dimensions, including the mounting brackets, measure 210mm and 330mm respectively. The height of the cooler is determined by the number of oilways, including both top and bottom plates. More rows indicate better cooling capacity. Both standard and heavy-duty versions are available for different pressure requirements. Standard duty coolers can withstand a working pressure of 150 Psi, while heavy-duty coolers feature thicker materials in critical areas and aluminium castings between the plates, catering to motorsport applications and offering a maximum working pressure of 180 Psi.
