Inception
Compare Parts was founded by Shah Fard, a JDM car enthusiast. Shah spent countless hours doom scrolling ebay, facebook marketplace, car enthusiast forums, whatsapp groups and Google trying to find rare car parts for his Nissan Skyline R33 GTR.
Understanding first hand how hard it is to find performance car parts, he decided to use his development + marketing skills and do something about it. Compare.Parts was built for the car community, Car enthusiasts are a huge family, and share the love and passion without judgement, whether your own a classic car through to a record breaking fire breathing drag car. The love is shared by the community. Pitching the idea to his car friends they all loved the idea and support it.
The site has grown now with over 250k products, multiple advertisers with visitors all over the world.
Shah was described by Japanese Performance magazine as 車オタク or someone who is deeply passionate about cars which featured his Kazama S15 on the front cover. So that same passion has been invested into Compare.Parts.
Progress
In 2008 Shah came up with the idea, the site was originally "Compare Car Parts" before rebranding to the shorter "Compare.Parts" domain in 2014.
Like any project car, its never finished, just like his Skyline GTR, Shah is constantly working on it, improving it and trying to make it better.
The website has gone through quite a few different designs and backends, each time the website got to a point where it just couldn't cope with the number of products and user demand before it needed rebuilding (just like highly strung race engines)
The current version (2024) is built on a much more stable platform🤔and Shah's next goal is to get 1 million products on the site. That's equivalent to a fully forged block, with all the boost you can throw at it.
Shah has had a lot of support and love from his family friends who kept him pushing and motivating him, despite the many late nights coding and working on the site.

Shah is an entrepreneur, digital marketer and developer for 18+ years.
Shah is a car enthusiasts, in his spare time he helps friends with their cars or works on his Nissan Skyline R33 GTR, V10 RS6 and RB26 Powered Altezzza.

Lead Developer
Vuk is the lead developer and bringing years of experience to the team.
With a passion for cars, Vuk was a perfect fit, understanding exactly what car enthusiasts need. He also keeps the founder (Shah) in check with his outrageous ideas.
Greg Davis
Business Development
Greg oversees business development and strategic planning. His background in finance has been invaluable in supporting the companies growth.
Greg is a “hybrid” with a love for Football and Cars. He has a special love for RX7’s and S2000’s.
Tim Costello
SEO
Tim is a senior SEO and all round tech enthusiast, he works diligently behind the scenes supporting marketing and website development.
