The Mocal Oil Coolers are designed to provide superior cooling performance for high-performance engines, ensuring optimal engine protection from excessive heat generation.
These pressed plate type oil cooler radiators have been a popular choice for high-performance road and race bikes/cars for many years.
The key advantage of these coolers is their ability to efficiently dissipate heat through airflow, typically positioned at the front of the bike or car, near the radiator.
The oil is supplied to the cooler via pipes connected to the engine, usually with a sandwich plate fitted between the engine and the oil filter. This design enables the cooler to take advantage of the airflow to cool the oil as it flows through the internal oilways.
The Mocal Oil Coolers are available in two matrix widths: 115mm and 235mm.
The overall width, including brackets, is 210mm and 330mm respectively. The height of the cooler is measured by the number of rows, which affects the cooling performance. The more rows, the better the cooling will be.
The standard duty coolers have a working pressure of 150 Psi, while the heavy duty coolers feature thicker material in key areas and aluminium castings between plates for added strength and reliability.
This makes them ideal for motorsport applications.
These oil coolers are available in various sizes to suit all engine types, making them an excellent choice for high-performance engines that require optimal cooling. The thickness of all the coolers is 51mm.
The Mocal Oil Coolers are designed to provide superior protection against premature engine wear by maintaining a stable temperature, even under extreme operating conditions.
Their versatility and reliability make them an excellent addition to any performance road or race bike/car.
