The Mocal Oil Coolers - Standard Duty 13 Row 235mm Matrix is an essential component for high-performance engines that work under demanding conditions. This product is designed to provide an effective cooling solution for engines that operate at high revs.The pressed plate type of oil cooler radiators has been widely adopted in performance road and race bikes/cars for many years. The Mocal Oil Cooler's position is critical, as it allows airflow to pass through it, resulting in a significant cooling effect.The fitting process involves connecting pipes to the engine via a sandwich plate, which sits between the engine and oil filter. This setup ensures that oil flows through the cooler, allowing for efficient cooling. The oil cooler's design features a matrix width of 235mm, with an overall width (including brackets) of 330mm. The height is measured in rows, representing the number of oilways within the top and bottom plates. With more rows, better cooling performance is achieved.The standard duty coolers have a working pressure of 150 Psi, while the heavy-duty versions offer a working pressure of 180 Psi, featuring thicker material in key areas and aluminum castings between the plates for added strength and reliability in motorsport applications.
