The AIM Motorsport EVO4S Data Logger with GPS09 Module is the upgraded version of the renowned EVO4, offering improved internal electronics while retaining its signature one connector per channel design. This advanced device is fully compatible with the latest generation of AIM dash/loggers and works seamlessly with RaceStudio 3 software for enhanced data analysis. The EVO4S can be connected to various ECU types using RS232, OBDII, or CAN connections depending on your vehicle's setup. For real-time data visualization, the EVO4S can be linked to GS-Dash or Formula 3 steering wheels. This logger comes with a 4m long GPS cable and offers various GPS09 module options including 0.5m, 1.3m, 2m, or 4m cables for different vehicle types. Specific connection kits are also available for numerous sports bikes. The EVO4S supports multiple data sources such as engine control unit (ECU) data via CAN, RS232, or K-line, internal accelerometer and gyro, and GPS09 module for precise lap time calculations. It features five configurable analogue channels with 12-bit sampling for inputs ranging from temperature to pressure, two speed inputs for monitoring wheel behaviour, and one RPM input for square wave signals or coil pulse pickup. The built-in three-axial accelerometer and gyro sensor enable a comprehensive understanding of oversteer, understeer, and banking. The EVO4S also offers a 1 amp at 12 volts digital output that can be customized based on analogue or digital inputs, ECU values, expansion values, or GPS data. With the CAN output, you can directly control your vehicle's systems by sending messages to existing CAN networks, expanding the scope of potential vehicle modifications. Analyse and interpret your performance with the powerful Race Studio Analysis 3 software, which provides graphs, histograms, and tables for objective evaluation and driving improvement. Expand the capabilities of your EVO4S with optional expansion modules via its built-in CAN bus. Choose from Channel Expansion for four additional 0-5Volt analogue channels, TC Hub for up to four K-type thermocouple temperature sensors, or LCU-One Lambda Controller for precise air/fuel data and lambda value measurement. Integrate SmartyCam HD cameras to overlay recorded data onto videos for comprehensive analysis. Please note that the EVO4S does not connect directly to MXL Dash Display, GT Steering Wheel, Formula Steering Wheel (2), or G-Dash. For these older displays, use the EVO4 data logger instead. When adding multiple expansion modules, you will require additional AIM Data Hubs (CAN multipliers) to maintain full system functionality.
