Not only is it more compact than its predecessor, the EVO4S, but it also boasts an aluminium body that ensures ease of installation in any vehicle.
With its user-friendly configuration through RaceStudio3 software, the EVO5 offers significant upgrades:
- Two multi-channel Motorsports connectors cater to both primary applications (power, CAN, AiM CAN network, etc.) and optional additional functions like CAN2, digital outputs, and more, thanks to its 37-pin connector and an additional 22-pin connector.
- The internal SD card stores all essential data securely. A waterproof door with a sensor ensures that all files close automatically when opened, thereby preventing any potential data loss.
- With a quick removal of the SD card, data transfer is expedited. Alternatively, you can opt for a USB connection if preferred.
- The EVO5 gathers a comprehensive range of data: information from your vehicle's ECU via CAN, RS232, or K-line; internal accelerometers and gyro; GPS09 module included in the kit; analogue/digital inputs; external expansions; and predefined math channels.
- Connect sensors to 8 configurable analogue channels, the RPM input, and 4 wheel speed inputs for comprehensive data acquisition.
- With a secure 802.11 WiFi connection, you can remotely configure the system and download data up to 100 meters away from your car.
- Expand the capabilities of the EVO5 using built-in CAN bus modules: Channel Expansion (additional 4 0-5 Volt analogue channels); LCU-One Lambda Controller (Bosch LSU 4.9 probe for air/fuel data, lambda value, and exhaust gas temperature for precise carburetion tuning); SmartyCam HD cameras (HD video with overlaid data); or GS-Dash (data visualisation).
- Downloaded data can be analysed using the professional Race Studio 3 Analysis software for detailed graphs, histograms, and tables to assess performance and refine your driving technique.
