The AIM Motorsport EVO4S Data Logger, GPS09 Module is the next step in the lineage of our successful EVO4 model. It boasts an internal electronic board redesign and full compatibility with latest generation AIM dash/loggers, all while maintaining the same connection logic - one connector per channel. For real-time data viewing, connect the EVO4S to the GS-Dash or Formula 3 steering wheel. For vehicle connections, you can choose between RS232, OBDII, or CAN depending on whether you intend to connect to your vehicle's ECU via the OBDII port or directly to the ECU itself for a direct installation. The logger captures essential data from various sources, including engine control units (ECUs) via CAN, RS232 or K-line, internal accelerometers and gyros, and an included GPS09 module for precise lap time calculations. Select from four different GPS09 module lengths - 0.5, 1.3, 2.0, or 4.0m cables, or choose a "roof" version with 2.0 or 4.0m cables for easy installation on covered cars or motorbikes. For sports bike installations, specific connection kits are available. The EVO4S offers five configurable analogue channels (12-bit, 0-5V, 0-50mV, 0-50mV inputs) and two speed inputs for monitoring wheel behaviour. An integrated three-axial accelerometer and gyro sensor enables comprehensive analysis of driving dynamics such as oversteering, understeering, banking, etc. The EVO4S features a digital output (1A at 12V), configurable based on analogue or digital inputs, ECU values, expansion values, or GPS information. A CAN output allows direct communication with existing CAN networks for enhanced vehicle control possibilities. Race Studio Analysis 3 software provides powerful data analysis tools including graphs, histograms, and tables to evaluate performance and refine driving technique. Optional expansion modules - Channel Expansion (4 0-5V analogue channels), TC Hub (up to 4 "K" type thermocouple temperature sensors), LCU-One Lambda Controller (wide band Lambda controller with Bosch LSU 4.9 probe) and SmartyCam HD cameras for data overlays - can be integrated via the built-in CAN bus. Please note: due to the EVO4S's single standard CAN input, additional expansion modules require the purchase of an AIM Data Hub (CAN multiplier) for proper functionality. The EVO4S is not compatible with older displays such as MXL Dash Display, GT Steering Wheel, Formula Steering Wheel (2), or G-Dash. For these displays, please use the EVO4 data logger.
