The AIM Motorsport EVO4S Data Logger with GPS09 Module is an advanced tool for car and bike enthusiasts, designed to provide you with comprehensive data analysis. An evolution of the well-known EVO4, this logger features a redesigned internal electronic board that is fully compatible with the latest generation of AIM dash/loggers and the powerful RaceStudio 3 software. The EVO4S offers versatile connection options for your convenience. You can choose between RS232, OBDII, or CAN connections depending on whether you want to connect to your vehicle's ECU through the OBDII port or directly to the ECU. With this logger, you can access a wide range of data sources including information from the internal accelerometer and gyro, as well as data from the included GPS09 module which enables precise lap time calculations. The GPS09 module is available in four different lengths: 0.5m, 1.3m, 2.0m, or 4.0m cable. For covered cars and bike fairings, there is also a "roof" version with 2.0m or 4.0m cable designed for easy installation. Specific connection kits are available for many sports bikes to ensure seamless installation. With five analogue channels, the EVO4S can sample data from temperature, pressure, suspension, and other sensors. Two speed inputs allow you to monitor different wheel behaviours, while its built-in three-axial accelerometer and gyro sensor help you understand oversteering, understeering, banking, and more. The EVO4S features a 1 amp at 12 volts digital output which can be configured based on analogue or digital inputs, ECU values, expansion values, or GPS information. You can also send messages directly to an existing CAN network for enhanced vehicle control possibilities. Data recorded by the EVO4S can be downloaded and analysed using the professional Race Studio Analysis 3 software, providing you with valuable insights into your performance and helping you avoid mistakes and improve your driving technique. Additional expansion modules can be integrated via the built-in CAN bus. These include a channel expansion for four 0-5Volt analogue channels for pressure, temperature sensors, and potentiometers, two of which can receive digital inputs like wheel speed. You can also add up to four "K" type thermocouple temperature sensors and a wide band Lambda controller (LCU-One) with Bosch LSU 4.9 probe for perfect carburetion tuning. For optimal compatibility, please note that the EVO4S does not connect to the MXL Dash Display, GT Steering Wheel, Formula Steering Wheel (2), or the G-Dash. Instead, it is designed to work with the newer displays and steering wheels. If you require more than one expansion module, you will need to purchase an AIM Data Hub (CAN multiplier) to ensure proper functionality.
