The AIM Motorsport EVO4S Data Logger with GPS09 Module is the cutting-edge successor to the esteemed EVO4, boasting a redesigned internal electronic board while maintaining the same one connector per channel configuration. This advanced device seamlessly integrates with the latest generation of AIM dash/loggers and RaceStudio 3 software for unparalleled performance analysis. This logger is available with various ECU connection options, including RS232, OBDII, or CAN, enabling you to connect directly to your vehicle's ECU or via the OBDII port. With an extensive range of data sources at your disposal - including engine control unit (ECU) data via CAN, RS232, or K-line, internal accelerometer and gyro data, and GPS09 module information for precise lap time calculations - you'll have all the data needed to fine-tune your driving experience. Choose from a selection of GPS09 modules with cable lengths of 0.5, 1.3, 2.0, or 4.0m, or opt for the "Roof" version for easy installation on covered cars or motorbikes. Furthermore, specific connection kits are available for numerous sports bikes to ensure a perfect fit. With five configurable analogue channels (12-bit, 0-5 Volt, 0-500 mV, or 0-50 mV) and two speed inputs, you can monitor temperature, pressure, suspension, and other sensor data with ease. The internal three-axial accelerometer and gyro sensor offer unmatched insights into oversteering, understeering, banking, and more. The EVO4S also features a 1 amp at 12 volts digital output that can be configured based on analogue or digital inputs, ECU values, expansion values, or GPS information. For enhanced vehicle control, utilize the CAN output to send messages directly to your existing CAN network. Using Race Studio Analysis 3 software, you can download and analyse recorded data with ease, accessing graphs, histograms, and tables to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement. Expand your system's capabilities by adding optional expansion modules via the built-in CAN bus, such as a channel expander or a thermocouple hub, and control up to four "K" type temperature sensors. Please note that due to the EVO4S's single CAN input, additional expansion modules will require the purchase of the AIM Data Hub (CAN multiplier) if more than one module is added to your system. Unfortunately, the EVO4S does not support connection with MXL Dash Display, GT Steering Wheel, Formula Steering Wheel (2), or G-Dash. For these older displays, please use the EVO4 data logger instead.
