The AIM Motorsport EVO4S Data Logger - CAN, Roof Version with 2.0m Cable offers a comprehensive and advanced solution for data acquisition on your vehicle. A successor to the esteemed EVO4, this latest generation logger boasts improved internal electronic boards, ensuring full compatibility with all current AIM dash/logger systems and the powerful RaceStudio 3 software. The EVO4S provides real-time data viewing capabilities when connected to a GS-Dash or Formula 3 steering wheel, and offers flexible ECU connection options RS232, OBDII, or CAN, depending on whether you require direct ECU connection or access through the OBDII port. With the inclusion of a GPS09 module, this logger delivers precise lap time calculations as well as automatic data sampling from various sources: the Engine Control Unit (ECU) via CAN, RS232 or K-line, internal accelerometer and gyro, and the GPS09 module itself, available with 0.5, 1.3, 2.0, or 4.0m cables for various applications, including Roof versions for covered vehicles or bike fairings. The EVO4S features five configurable analogue channels (12-bit) for temperature, pressure, suspension, and other sensors, two speed inputs for wheel monitoring, and an integrated three-axial accelerometer/gyro sensor for detailed vehicle performance analysis. Furthermore, optional expansion modules can be added via the built-in CAN bus to enhance functionality. The EVO4S Data Logger's features include a 1 amp at 12 volts digital output for configurable on/off control, CAN output for direct communication with existing CAN networks, and compatibility with professional Race Studio Analysis 3 software for detailed data analysis, graphs, histograms, and tables. Please note that additional expansion modules may require the purchase of an AIM Data Hub (CAN multiplier) if more than one is added, as the EVO4S has only one CAN input as standard. Also, please be aware that this product does not support connection to MXL Dash Display, GT Steering Wheel, Formula Steering Wheel (2), or G-Dash. For these older displays, please use the EVO4 data logger instead.
