The WOSP high output gear reduction starter motors have been specifically designed to cater to the requirements of tuned race engines, road engines, and bespoke engine conversions where OEM starter motors do not fit. These high-performance starter motors boast higher cranking power than their OEM counterparts, making them ideal for applications that demand exceptional performance and reliability. The WOSP range offers a significant upgrade in terms of cranking torque, making it an excellent choice for high compression or tuned engines. With its impressive range of applications, the W OSP starter motor can be adapted to fit most engine conversions, allowing for optimum mounting positions. The 360-degree rotation capability enables the perfect positioning of the starter motor, ensuring seamless integration with the existing engine setup. These 100% brand new units are manufactured in-house by WOSP in the UK, adhering to the highest standards of quality and performance. Most W OSP starters are based on Denso high-torque units, renowned for their superb reliability. The PMGR units supplied with lightweight magnetic field coils and planetary gear reduction provide additional benefits. The inline gear reduction unit, featuring sun and planet gears, ensures that the starter motor operates efficiently and effectively. The circular stepped register enables the motors to be rotated through 360 degrees on the mounting, allowing the perfect mounting position to be obtained (applicable to Denso units only).
