The WOSP high output starter motor range, designed specifically for tuned race or road engines and specialist engine conversions, offers unparalleled performance and reliability. These high-torque starter motors boast higher cranking power than OEM starters, making them ideal for competition and high-performance applications.

With their exceptional torque output, these starter motors are well-suited for high-compression or tuned engines. Additionally, the majority of WOSP starter motors can be rotated 360 degrees to enable optimal mounting positions.

The entire range is designed to withstand the harsh environments of Motorsport, ensuring that each unit meets the highest standards. Manufactured in-house by WOSP in the UK, these brand-new units guarantee superb reliability and performance.

Most WOSP starter motors are based on Denso high-torque units for exceptional reliability. The 'PMGR' units feature lightweight magnetic field coils and planetary gear reduction. Planetary gear reduction units utilize an inline gear reduction unit with sun and planet gears, providing a smooth and efficient operation.

The circular stepped register of WOSP starter motors enables them to be rotated through 360 degrees on the mounting position, allowing for the perfect mounting position to be obtained (applicable only to Denso units).
