The Kirkey 81 Series Standard Layback Containment Seat, featuring a sleek silver finish, offers an upgrade to your standard or economy seat for circuit racing, kit cars and club racing. This 20-degree layback seat is designed with maximum value in mind and comes in various widths to suit different driver sizes. With a unique three-piece design, the high-backed aluminum seat allows both the shoulder and back to adjust by 2.5 inches (63.5mm) vertically, while the head restraint adds an additional 0.75 inch (19mm) of vertical adjustment. MIG welded from .100" and .190" thick 5052 grade aluminum, this seat is durable and designed to accommodate all head and neck restraint systems. The energy-absorbing impact padding on the head restraint provides an extra layer of safety, while the reinforced head and shoulder support ensures optimum comfort and support for the driver. The modular design makes it easy to assemble and comes with a removable black cloth cover that features contoured high-density foam padding in the base for added comfort. Suitable for drivers of varying heights, this seat is built to accommodate all 5 or 6 point seat belts and includes moulded rubber inserts for all seat belt openings. The head support is designed with easy entry and exit in mind, making it a versatile choice for race car drivers.
