The Kirkey 81 Series Standard Layback Containment Seat is an evolution of the popular 71 series range, designed specifically for circuit racing, kit cars, and club racing. This seat offers maximum value for its price, featuring a high-backed aluminum design with a 20-degree layback that can be adjusted vertically by 2.5" (63.5mm) using a unique 3-piece design. The shoulder and back can be adjusted separately to accommodate different driver sizes.

The Kirkey 81 Series Standard Layback Containment Seat is constructed from 5052-grade aluminum, which is MIG welded in thicknesses of .100" and .190". It is designed to accommodate all head and neck restraint systems, with reinforced head and shoulders providing additional support. The energy-absorbing impact padding on the head restraint ensures optimal safety.

The seat features a removable black cloth cover with contoured high-density foam padding in the base for improved comfort and inner thigh support. This modular 3-piece design is supplied un-assembled and can be adjusted to accommodate drivers of varying heights, making it ideal for optimum support and comfort.

Additionally, the Kirkey 81 Series Standard Layback Containment Seat features built-in reinforced shoulder restraints and is designed to accommodate all 5 or 6-point seat belts.
