The Kirkey 81 Series Standard Layback Containment Seat, with its 20-degree layback design, is a superior choice for circuit racing, kit cars, and club racing. This high-backed aluminum seat, available in multiple widths to fit various driver sizes, offers excellent value for money. The unique 3-piece construction enables the shoulder and back sections to adjust vertically by 2.5 inches (63.5mm), with an additional 0.75 inch (19mm) of vertical adjustment available from the head restraint. Crafted from MIG welded .100" and .190" thick 5052 grade aluminum, this seat is robust and built to last. The design incorporates energy-absorbing impact padding on the head restraint for added safety. The head support is designed with ease of entry and exit from the race car in mind, while built-in reinforced shoulder restraints ensure secure positioning. The seat's vertical adjustment makes it suitable for drivers with varying heights, providing optimal support and comfort. The product comes with a removable black cloth cover, featuring contoured high-density foam padding in the base for enhanced comfort and inner thigh support. Note that the seat is supplied unassembled.
