The Kumho Ecsta V70A is a high-performance tyre that has been developed using the company's vast experience in various areas of motorsport, including Formula 3, sports car/production car racing, rallycross, and rallying. This expertise has led to the development of new sizes and compounds, which are constantly being refined by their RD department. Ideal for track days, circuit racing, sprints, and hill climbs, the Ecsta V70A has already proven its credentials on the track as the control tyre for various one-make series, including the Kumho BMW challenge and TVR Tasmin Challenge. The Ecsta V70A is DOT Approved and delivers excellent performance thanks to its advanced silica tread compound, which is available in super soft, soft, medium, and hard compounds. This allows for superior wet and dry traction and handling, making it an ideal choice for drivers who demand high-performance capabilities. The tyre's advanced directional tread design provides superior acceleration, braking, and cornering, while its large lateral and centre channels allow maximum water dispersion to maintain traction in shallow standing water or damp conditions. On the inside of the tyre, there are two wide steel belts that provide excellent cornering power and a stable footprint. Additionally, two durable nylon plies offer high-speed stability and resistance to centrifugal forces. The Ecsta V70A is E-marked for road use and has been approved by the MSA List 1C. This means that it meets the highest standards of safety and performance, making it an excellent choice for drivers who demand the best.
