The Kumho Ecsta V70A tyre has been developed through Kumho's extensive experience in various motorsport areas, including Formula 3, sports car/production car racing, rallycross, and rallying. As a result, it is ideal for track days, circuit racing, sprints, and hill climbs. Its credentials have been proven on the track, having been chosen as the control tyre for various one-make series, such as the Kumho BMW challenge and TVR Tasmin Challenge. The Ecsta V70A boasts DOT Approval and delivers exceptional performance thanks to its advanced silica tread compound, available in super soft, soft, medium, and hard compounds. This compound offers superior wet and dry traction and handling. The tyre's advanced directional tread design provides superior acceleration, braking, and cornering, while its large lateral and centre channels allow maximum water dispersion to maintain traction in shallow standing water or damp conditions. On the inside of the tyre, the V70A features two wide steel belts to provide excellent cornering power and a stable footprint. Two durable nylon plies offer excellent high-speed stability and resistance to centrifugal forces. Additionally, this tyre is E-marked for road use and holds an MSA List 1C approval.
