Note that sports cats can not legally be installed on vehicles manufactured after 1st March 2001 for use on public roads unless type ECE 103R approved. Additionally, fitting De Cat/Cat Bypass or GPF delete/bypass to such a vehicle will cause it to fail the MOT emissions test, rendering it unroadworthy and illegal. A remap is usually required after installation due to changes in ECU readings from the Lambda sensors in the exhaust. Cobra Sport's lifetime warranty (for the first purchaser only) covers defects on this downpipe.
