In 1987, Camloc joined Fairchild, and later, in 2002, Alcoa Fastening Systems (AFS) acquired Fairchild. AFS was rebranded as Arconic in 2016 and is now known as Howmet Fastening Systems. This series of acquisitions has led to Camloc being known as Howmet Fastening Systems Fairchild Fasteners Europe – Camloc GmbH, a testament to its enduring legacy.
