The Tillett B6 is a slim-fitting seat designed for use in various kit cars, sports cars, and track day vehicles. Its innovative design addresses common issues faced by drivers: the headrest has been repositioned to prevent helmet interference, while shoulder belt holes have been engineered for FHR/HANS device compatibility. By positioning the driver lower within the vehicle, the B6 also aids taller drivers and lowers the car's centre of gravity. Ideal for cars with limited space, this narrow seat features a body-hugging design that mirrors the contours of the chassis, providing superior comfort and unparalleled feedback. The shell is available in lightweight GRP or ultra-lightweight carbon fibre/GRP options. The Tillett B6 caters to most driver shapes and sizes, with standard options suitable for those up to 100kg and a 36" waist, while XL variants accommodate drivers up to 130kg and a 40" waist. This UK-made seat boasts a twin skin construction that ensures rigidity and maximises chassis feedback. The high side bolsters offer exceptional lateral support as well as impact protection for the driver's legs. The ergonomic design ensures comfort, even when used without additional padding. Enlarged hip holes facilitate ease of use with wider lap belts. For narrower 40cm tubs, the outer edge of the composite shell can be removed; otherwise, it can be left on to create a continuous rolled edge. Both options have identical internal dimensions. The seat comes standard with a Dinamica suede covered headrest pad, and a 2-piece Dinamica trimmed pad set is available for purchase separately if desired. The B6 seat offers both side and base mounting configurations. For the side mount option, specific mounts can be found HERE. The base mount version can be installed using the Tillett Adjustment Seat Runner Set, which must be bolted directly to the underside of the seat (please note that the runners should be positioned 1cm above the seat base to allow clearance for the handle).
