The Driven Racing Oil GL4 80W90 Mineral Gear Oil is an optimal choice for classic competition or performance vehicles that require a 80W90 GL4 oil. This mineral-based lubricant is designed specifically for manual transmissions, transaxles, and differentials in such cars. Notably, it is not suitable for plate type Limited Slip Differentials (LSDs). The product safeguards yellow metals and helps to prevent gear clashing while promoting accurate gear synchronisation. This oil stands out particularly when used in classic gearboxes where a synthetic GL4 oil might be too slippery for the synchros to mesh properly, proving highly effective in transmissions such as Muncie, T10, Super T10, Ford Toploader, Saginaw and Mopar 383.
