The Tillett B7 Ultra Lightweight Seat is a groundbreaking carbon fibre competition seat, sharing the shape and dimensions of its popular predecessor, the B6, but with significantly reduced weight. Weighing in at an astonishing 3.8kg, this exceptional lightness makes it one of the, if not the lightest FIA homologated seats available on today's market. The B7's innovative design positions drivers lower within the car, offering several benefits for taller individuals and contributing to a decreased vehicle centre of gravity. Ultralightweight at just 3.8kg, this seat is perfect for reducing overall vehicle weight without sacrificing structural integrity or driver comfort. With its narrow design (40cm or 44cm at the widest point), it's ideally suited for small cockpit cars such as Caterham, Westfield, and Lotus Elise models. The B7's body-mirroring shell shape delivers high levels of comfort while ensuring maximum chassis feedback to the driver. Despite its lightweight nature, this seat boasts increased rigidity thanks to its UK-manufactured twin skin design. Its ergonomic shape provides optimum support and comfort even when used without additional padding. Compatible with 4, 5, and 6-point belts as well as FHR (HANS) devices, this seat is designed to accommodate most driver shapes and sizes. Standard size is suitable for drivers up to 100kg with a waist circumference of 36" (91.4cm), while the XL size caters to those weighing up to 130kg with a waist size of 40" (102cm). This ultra-lightweight seat is designed and manufactured in the UK, offering superior chassis feedback and enhanced driver connection. Its high side bolsters offer excellent lateral support and leg impact protection. The ergonomic design provides maximum comfort while maintaining a low profile. Please note that side mounts are not included with this product. The B7 seat is FIA 8855-1999 Approved.
