The AiM SmartyCam 3 Dual HD camera system has been specifically designed as the ultimate Motorsport camera, providing high-quality videos that include all the necessary information to improve your performance. This flagship version of the SmartyCam 3 range is ideal for Motorsport professionals and enthusiasts alike, offering a single purpose: to provide great videos with all the technical information you need. With dual cameras recording in full 1080p HD at 60FPS (H.264 1920 x 1080 pixels), this system includes all the necessary details to improve your performance. The kit comes with three lens versions, each with a choice of 2 or 4 meter length connection cables: * The 67° Lens, ideal for closed-roof cars, reduces the unpleasant black frame typical of generic camera onboard videos by "seeing" the track just within the wind-screen pillars. * The 84° Lens, perfect for open-roof and formula cars, provides a more ample view of the track and eliminates the risk of black frames. * The 120° Lens offers an even wider view of the track and surroundings. The system also comes with three wiring harness/connection options: * A harness with 22 pin Deutsch female connector with Ethernet connection * A harness with 22 pin Deutsch female connector with Ethernet connection and external microphone connection * A 22 Pin Deutsch female connector for building your own specification harness Intelligent settings allow the camera to automatically start/stop recording, eliminating the need to worry about turning your camera on at the starting line. The SmartyCam3 does all the work and is fully configurable to your timing preference. A color 2.4 display offers immediate playback and helps with setting up, providing real-time configurable data overlays. When connected to an AIM logger/dash logger or GPS module using Race Studio 3, you can configure your overlays in a virtually infinite variety of ways: add your logo and the track map, choose graphical objects from pre-determined sets, or even single objects from different sets; add the second camera video in Picture in Picture mode. The SmartyCam 3 Dual overlays all data you need, including speed, RPM, lap number, gear shifts, and much more. Data can be read from all possible sources, such as GPS: track map and vehicle position, as well as speed, lap, and split times; from AIM logger/dash logger connected to your ECU: RPM, throttle, engaged gear, acceleration, temperatures, pressures, etc.; from additional sensors connected to your AIM logger/dash logger. The SmartyCam 3 Dual features a video output with SDI interface, allowing you to overlay your videos with the 'Picture in Picture' effect. Pick your angles and stream your video at 30 or 60 FPS directly to your pit crew, or even Facebook, YouTube, or any other platform, thanks to its built-in Ethernet connection. The SmartyCam 3 Dual also comes with a full internal datelogger that receives and stores all data in an .mp4 file from any of the CAN expansions listed. At the end of your test, your SD Card contains all the information you need for a deep data analysis. The SD card is sold separately (up to 2TB). The SmartyCam 3 Dual can be connected through the CAN network to any AIM Logger, MX Series, MXL2, MyChron, Solo2 DL, EVO5, and ECU Bridge. Designed for extreme conditions, this on-board camera has been built to guarantee great resistance against the extreme working conditions typical of racing and against the most adverse weather conditions. The SmartyCam 3 Dual and its bullet cams are made from anodised aluminium and are fully IP65 waterproof. The Global Shutter CMOS technology ensures that you will never experience the "wave effect" again, which is a major problem for video recording. The wave effect is eliminated thanks to the SmartyCam 3 cameras being designed for harsh Motorsport environments and vibrations.
