The AiM SmartyCam 3 Dual HD camera system has been specifically designed for Motorsport, providing unparalleled video quality and functionality. The kit comes with three lens options: 67°, 84°, and 120°, each suited for different car types and racing conditions. The 67° Lens is perfect for closed-roof cars, providing a clear view of the track within the windshield pillars, minimizing unwanted black frames typical in generic camera footage. The 84° Lens is ideal for open-roof and formula cars, offering an expansive view of the track with no risk of black frames. The 120° Lens provides an even wider perspective, capturing more of the surroundings. The system includes three wiring harness/connection options: a 22-pin Deutsch female connector with Ethernet connection, a 22-pin Deutsche female connector with Ethernet connection and external microphone connection, or a 22-pin Deutsche female connector for building your own custom harness. Intelligent settings allow the camera to automatically start and stop recording, eliminating the need to worry about turning the camera on at the starting line. The SmartyCam3 is fully configurable to your timing preferences. The colour 2.4 display offers immediate playback and easy setup. Real-time configurable data overlays can be customized using Race Studio 3 software. Add your logo and track map, choose from pre-determined graphical objects or individual elements from different sets. Overlays can include speed, RPM, lap number, gear shifts, and more. SmartyCam 3 Dual features a video output with SDI interface, allowing you to stream your video at 30 or 60 FPS directly to your pit crew, Facebook, YouTube, or other platforms using the built-in Ethernet connection. Video analysis with Race Studio 3 software allows you to split your session into individual videos of each lap, comparing your performance with others. This enables you to identify areas for improvement and refine your racing skills. The internal datalogger receives and stores all data from CAN expansions in a .mp4 file. At the end of your test, your SD card contains all the information needed for a deep data analysis (up to 2TB). The SmartyCam 3 Dual can be connected to any AiM Logger, MX Series, MXL2, MyChron, Solo2 DL, EVO5, and ECU Bridge through the CAN network. Designed for extreme conditions, this on-board camera system is built to withstand harsh Motorsport environments and adverse weather conditions. The SmartyCam 3 Dual's anodised aluminium construction and IP65 waterproof design ensure resistance against vibrations and extreme working conditions typical in racing. The Global Shutter CMOS technology eliminates the "wave effect" caused by engine rumble, providing a smoother video recording experience.
