The AiM SmartyCam 3 Dual HD camera system has been specifically designed as the ultimate tool for Motorsport enthusiasts, providing high-quality videos with all the necessary information to enhance performance. With its dual bullet cameras recording in full 1080p HD at 60FPS (H.264 1920 x 1080 pixels), this flagship model is ideal for open- and closed-roof cars, formula cars, and more. The SmartyCam 3 Dual comes with three lens options: a 67° lens, perfect for closed-roof cars, reducing the risk of black frames; an 84° lens, ideal for open-roof and formula cars, providing an ample view of the track without any obstruction; and a 120° lens, offering an even wider perspective. The system includes four-metre cables and a 22-pin Deutsch female connector with Ethernet connection. The SmartyCam 3 Dual features intelligent settings that allow it to automatically start or stop recording, eliminating the need for manual intervention at the starting line. A colour 2.4 display offers immediate playback and helps with setting up. Real-time configurable data overlays can be connected to an AIM logger/dash logger or GPS module using Race Studio 3, allowing for a virtually infinite variety of configurations. Data can be read from various sources, including GPS (track map and vehicle position, speed, lap and split times), AiM logger/dash logger (RPM, throttle, engaged gear, acceleration, temperatures, pressures, etc.), and additional sensors connected to the AiM logger/dash logger. Video output features a video interface with SDI interface, allowing for overlay with 'Picture in Picture' effect. The SmartyCam 3 Dual's built-in Ethernet connection enables streaming at 30 or 60 FPS straight to your pit crew, social media platforms like Facebook and YouTube, or other online platforms. Video analysis is made possible through Race Studio 3 software, which can be downloaded for free, allowing you to split session videos into individual laps and compare performance. The internal datalogger receives and stores data in a .mp4 file from any CAN expansions listed, making it easy to analyze your data at the end of your test. The SD card (sold separately, up to 2TB) contains all the necessary information for deep analysis. The SmartyCam 3 Dual can be connected through the CAN network to any AiM Logger, MX Series, MXL2, MyChron, Solo2 DL, EVO5, and ECU Bridge. Designed for extreme conditions, this on-board camera system guarantees great resistance against harsh environments and adverse weather conditions. Its anodised aluminium construction and IP65 waterproof design ensure it can withstand the most demanding racing conditions. With SmartyCam 3 Dual, you'll never experience the "wave effect" again, thanks to its Global Shutter CMOS technology, which eliminates engine rumble caused vibrations that affect video recording. The SmartyCam 3 cameras have been specifically designed for harsh Motorsport environments, ensuring a smooth and professional video recording experience.
