The AiM Motorsport SmartyCam 3 Dual HD camera system has been specifically designed as the ultimate tool for motorsports, providing high-quality video recordings and a comprehensive range of features to enhance your racing experience. At its core, the SmartyCam 3 Dual is designed to provide exceptional video quality, recording in full 1080p HD at 60FPS (H.264 1920 x 1080 pixels) with two bullet cams that can be configured to suit your needs. The system offers three lens options: a 67-degree lens suitable for closed-roof cars, an 84-degree lens ideal for open-roof and formula cars, and a 120-degree lens providing an even wider view. The SmartyCam 3 Dual system comes with three wiring harness/connection options: a 22-pin Deutsch female connector with Ethernet connection, a 22-pin Deutsch female connector with Ethernet connection and external microphone connection, and a 22-pin Deutsch female connector for building your own custom specification harness. The intelligent settings allow the camera to automatically start and stop recording, eliminating the need to worry about turning it on at the starting line. The system features a colour 2.4 display for immediate playback and setup, providing real-time configurable data overlays when connected to an AIM logger/dash logger or GPS module using Race Studio 3. This allows you to add your logo and track map, choose graphical objects from pre-determined sets, and even add the second camera video in Picture-in-Picture mode. The SmartyCam 3 Dual provides a comprehensive range of features, including speed, RPM, lap number, gear shifts, and more. Data can be read from various sources, including GPS (track map and vehicle position), AIM logger/dash logger connected to your ECU (RPM, throttle, engaged gear, acceleration, temperatures, pressures), and additional sensors connected to your AIM logger/dash logger. The system features a video output with SDI interface, allowing you to overlay videos with the 'Picture in-Picture' effect. You can stream your video at 30 or 60 FPS directly to your pit crew, Facebook, YouTube, or other platforms using the built-in Ethernet connection. The SmartyCam 3 Dual comes with Race Studio 3 software, which allows you to analyse your videos by splitting a single session into individual videos of each lap. This enables you to compare your performance with others or instructors, providing valuable insights to improve your racing skills. The system features a full internal datalogger that receives and stores data in an .mp4 file from any CAN expansions listed. At the end of your test, your SD Card contains all the information needed for a deep data analysis. The SD card is sold separately (up to 2TB). The SmartyCam 3 Dual can be connected through the CAN network to various AIM Logger, MX Series, MXL2, MyChron, Solo2 DL, ECU Bridge, and other devices. Designed for extreme conditions, the SmartyCam 3 Dual and its bullet cams are made from anodised aluminium and feature IP65 waterproofing. The system is resistant to the harsh environments typical of racing and adverse weather conditions. The SmartyCam 3 Dual eliminates the 'Wave Effect' with Global Shutter CMOS, providing a smooth video recording experience even in extreme vibrations. This ensures that you can focus on improving your racing performance without worrying about camera distractions.
