At the heart of this system is a 2-way radio-based communication kit that utilizes 16 licence-free channels. This allows seamless communication between the driver and the pit crew, ensuring clear and efficient decision-making during races. The Pit Communication Kit includes a professional headset with noise-cancelling microphone, a pre-programmed radio with 16 PMR446 licence-free channels, a radio-to-headset connection lead, a 2000mAh battery and charger, and an aluminium storage case. This kit provides the pit crew with a comprehensive communication solution. The Car Communication Kit features a pre-programmed 360 analogue radio with 16 PMR446 licence-free channels, a steering wheel-mounted PTT button with coiled connection cable, wiring harness to connect the driver kit to the radio and PTT button, radio mounting pouch, and remote antenna kit with a 3m long connection cable and BNC through-hole antenna mount with radio adaptor. The Driver Kit includes in-ear speakers with memory foam sleeves for comfort and superb external noise suppression, offering crystal-clear audio. The kit also features a noise-cancelling microphone on a flexible boom, with a 75cm long extension lead. This kit is compatible with Sparco and Peltor intercom headsets with a male Nexus plug; adaptor leads for Stilo and ZeroNoise headheads are available separately. To create a communication kit for one driver, one car, and one pit crew member, you will need one of each of the above kits.
