The FEV N-TEC 2.0kg Electrical Remote Charge Gas Fire Extinguisher Kit is a comprehensive solution designed for closed cockpit race cars and rally cars, complying with FIA Technical List 16 for Motorsport use. This electrically operated fire extinguisher kit features a remote charge system, providing more efficient gas dispersal and faster fire out times. The FEV N-TEC 2.0kg Electrical Remote Charge Gas Fire Extinguisher Kit boasts an impressive 2.0kg capacity, discharging through five atomising nozzles (three engine bay and two cockpit). These nozzles have been developed to produce a fine mist for larger surface area coverage and faster fire out times. The extinguishant used is Novec 1230 gas, which is incredibly effective at putting out vehicle fires and leaves no mess when discharged. The kit includes all necessary components for installation and operation, including an alloy bottle pre-filled with N-TEC gas extinguishant, bracket and T-bolt straps, two cockpit nozzles, four engine bay nozzles, 10mm tubing, connectors, tube clips, two 'E' stickers, a control box and wiring loom, internal fire button, external fire button, and instructions. The FEV N-TEC 2.0kg Electrical Remote Charge Gas Fire Extinguisher Kit is designed to be compact and lightweight, with the cylinder length measuring 267mm (including firing head) and diameter of 101mm. The bottle only weighs 2.9kg, while the complete system weighs 4.1kg. This kit has been proven to quickly and efficiently extinguish fires including fuel, oil, diesel, and other highly flammable sources. As it contains no water, it will not affect vehicle electrics or cause any damage such as corrosion or tarnishing of components. Additionally, it is non-toxic, making it safe for the vehicle occupants.
