FEV N-TEC 2.25Kg Electrical Stored Pressure Gas Fire Extinguisher Kit

The FEV N-TEC 2.25Kg Electrical Stored Pressure Gas Fire Extinguisher Kit is a plumbed in electrically operated fire extinguisher designed for use in closed cockpit race cars and rally cars, suitable for non-international use. This kit has been specifically developed to meet the FIA Technical list 16 requirements for Motorsport use. The FEV N-TEC 2.25Kg Electrical Stored Pressure Gas Fire Extinguisher Kit utilises Novec 1230 gas as the extinguishant, which is proven to be highly effective in quickly and efficiently extinguishing fires including fuel, oil, diesel, and other highly flammable sources. The Novec 1230 gas has several benefits over traditional water-based extinguishants, including being non-toxic, causing no corrosion or damage to components, and not affecting vehicle electrics. The kit includes a pre-filled alloy bottle with N-TEC gas extinguishant, bracket and T-bolt straps, 2 x cockpit nozzles, 4 x engine bay nozzles, 10mm tubing, connectors, tube clips, 2 x 'E' stickers, control box and wiring loom, internal fire button, external fire button, and instructions. The cylinder length is 305mm (including firing head), and the diameter is 127mm. The weight of the bottle only is 3.66kg, while the complete system weighs 5.21kg. The FEV N-TEC 2.25Kg Electrical Stored Pressure Gas Fire Extinguisher Kit has been designed to provide fast and effective fire suppression in a safe and controlled manner. With its electrically operated discharge, it is suitable for use in closed cockpit race cars and rally cars.
