OMP Lightweight Quick Release Steering Wheel Boss - Fitment: Standard Bolt On, Electrical Connector

The OMP lightweight quick release steering wheel boss is designed for precise and efficient installation of your steering wheel. Unlike traditional splined versions, this product provides a quicker and more accurate location point, making it easier to secure the steering wheel in place. For those with paddle shift systems, there's a specific option available to accommodate their unique requirements. Additionally, provision has been made for running wiring through the centre, ensuring that electronics can be seamlessly integrated into the system. These bosses are designed to fit 3 or 6 hole steering wheels and come in standard bolt-on or weld-on fitments, catering to most applications. The OMP lightweight quick release boss is available with a circular hand grip release as well as a 'butterfly' hand grip release, providing clearance for paddle shifters. For those with specific controls on their steering wheel, the standard type comes equipped with an 11-pin connector, allowing electronics to be run through it. The butterfly type, however, does not have this feature but allows wiring to be run through the centre. Available in dual fitments of 3x50.8mm PCD and 6x70mm PCD, these bosses can be fitted using bolt-on or weld-on methods. The bolt-on fitment features a 6 x 70mm PCD that directly bolts onto vehicle-specific bosses from OMP, Momo, Sparco, and others. The OMP lightweight quick release boss offers an efficient solution for your steering wheel installation needs, providing a precise location point, accommodating paddle shift systems, and allowing wiring to be run through the centre. It's designed to cater to most applications, making it an ideal choice for car enthusiasts.
