The main hoop is constructed from FE45 cold drawn steel tubing, renowned for its high strength and affordable pricing. The tubes have a 50mm diameter with a 2mm wall thickness, conforming to FIA regulations. Additionally, all other bars feature a 40mm diameter with a 2mm wall thickness. A diagonal cross brace is used in the rear hoop, and a single diagonal bar between the back stays provides extra strength and rigidity. These roll cages are designed to be welded into the vehicle and should only be fitted by a competent welder with experience in installing roll cages. Please note that OMP weld-in competition roll cages are not suitable for vehicles with factory-fitted sunroofs (unless otherwise stated).
