Nankang AS-1 ( 235/40 ZR19 96Y XL )

The Nankang AS-1 tyre has been specifically designed to combine quiet driving, sportiness, and safety in a single product. Thanks to its asymmetric profile and silicone compound in the tread, it can deliver improved handling in both wet and dry conditions while minimizing rolling resistance and maximizing mileage. To ensure better drainage efficiency, two straight road grooves are positioned on the outside of the tyre. The stream in the middle groove is designed to accumulate water with the assistance of fine sipe bars, which helps to divert water for a safer drive. Furthermore, the tyre features a shoulder-high rigidity pattern that strengthens cornering force and enhances steering ability. The unique straight grooves on the shoulder make the whole tread more rigid, preventing irregular wear and ensuring an even tread life.
