The award-winning microprocessor-based design ensures one of the smoothest cuts among aftermarket rev limiters available on today's market. The additional button-operated lower rev limit function allows you to reduce wheel spin from the start line, providing better control and ensuring a successful launch. This versatile device comes with a waterproof switch for flexible installation options - steering wheel, dashboard or gear knob mounting. Protect your engine from over-revving with this precise rev limiter. Set your desired limit easily between 1,000 RPM and 20,000 RPM (2 cylinder), 1,200 RPM to 20,000 RPM (4 cylinder), 10,000 RPM (6 cylinder) or 8,000 RPM (8 cylinder). The twin coil option is suitable for cars with plug leads for each cylinder and a coil lead. Please note that it's not compatible with CDI ignition systems or vehicles where the coils are directly mounted on the plug (no plug leads just small wires to the plug). By choosing OMEX microprocessor-based shift lights and rev limiters, you benefit from Omex's proven method of calibration. The shift point and rev limit are set independently of your car's tachometer, eliminating any instrument error. Precise digital timing ensures a response within one engine revolution for unmatched accuracy. To determine the right type of rev limiter for your vehicle, please check the ignition layout. Single coil is suitable for cars with a plug lead for each cylinder and a coil lead, while twin coil is required if there are coil packs (two or four leads for a four-cylinder with no coil lead). It's essential to note that this rev limiter is not compatible with an amplified coil ignition system.
