The Racelogic VBOX Video HD2 is a cutting-edge video data logging system designed to help drivers achieve better lap times and greater consistency at the wheel. This single-camera system comes with no display, but features an HDMI output for live streaming of video footage. The dual 1080p cameras provide a main view with embedded picture-in-picture, ensuring that every moment of track action is captured in stunning high definition. The wide-angle lenses ensure that every moment of track action is captured, allowing for more precise analysis in Circuit Tools. Video is recorded at 30 frames per second (1920 x 1080p) to SD card or USB flash drive. The system boasts real-time HD graphic overlay and accurate 25Hz GNSS GPS data logging. An optional OLED predictive lap timing driver display can be added, providing a bright, sunlight-readable screen that displays configurable units. The HDMI output allows for live streaming of video footage, making it ideal for live TV streams or to provide real-time footage to the pit crew. The graphics are fully customisable, but several default scenes are available. An app for Android and iOS devices connects via the VBOX Video's inbuilt WiFi, allowing fine-tuning of camera orientation with real-time camera output displayed on the mobile device's screen. By default, the system will start and stop logging according to GPS speed, with the addition of the video pre-buffer capturing every moment of track action, including race starts. Optional remote start/stop logging is taken care of via a Bluetooth unit that can be conveniently mounted next to the driver. An internal battery ensures that the current file is correctly closed should power be lost during recording, preventing data loss or corruption. The VBOX Video HD2 represents the very latest in cutting-edge technology within the VBOX Motorsport range, providing a competitive advantage no matter what level of motorsport you compete in. OPTIONAL Predictive Lap Timing OLED Driver Display: The black plastic case with billet aluminium faceplate is splashproof to IP64 rating. The bright OLED screen is sunlight-readable and all displayed units are configurable. HDMI Output: All versions come with an HDMI output port, allowing for live streaming of video footage to a compatible monitor, recorder or streaming device. Ideal for live TV streams or to provide real-time footage to the pit crew, it can also be used as a rear view camera.
