The AEM Electronics Stainless Steel Atmospheric Pressure (PSIg) Sensor Kit is designed to provide accurate and rapid monitoring of pressure referenced against atmospheric pressure. This kit offers a high level of precision, with sensors that are accurate to within 1% of full scale and feature sealed sensor housings that are virtually impervuous to automotive fluids. The gauge style pressure sensors reference pressure above atmospheric pressure, making them ideal for applications such as oil pressure, fuel pressure, brake pressure, and nitrous pressure. Stainless Steel sensors offer greater accuracy and faster response to pressure changes compared to their equivalent brass body sensors, making them perfect for ECU data feeds or calibration type applications. The sensor specifications are impressive, with an accuracy of +/- 0.5% full scale, repeatability, hysteresis, and linearity. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 105°C (-40°F to 221°F), response time is less than 1ms, and vibration is tested at 100 to 2000Hz, 20g sinusoidal, and 3 axes. The sensor body is made of Stainless Steel, with a 304L & 316L Stainless Steel wetted material thread. The weight of the sensor is under 85 grams. The output is 0.5 to 4.5Vdc linear, with electrical termination integral weatherproof connector, including a mating connector, pins, and pin lock. This kit includes a maximum PSIg rated Stainless Steel Sensor, Connector, Pins, Pin Lock, and a 1/8" NPT to -4 Adapter. The sensor range is available in various PSI ranges from 0 PSIg (atmospheric) to its identified maximum pressure. Please ensure you choose the correct sensor for your application.
