The SmartyCam 3 Sport HD Camera is a cutting-edge video recording solution designed specifically for motorsport use, particularly in club racing and karting. This camera features a built-in data logger, which records all displayed channels onto an SD card. The SmartyCam 3 Sport has been designed to provide accurate and distortion-free video recording, eliminating wave effects and ensuring that you get crystal-clear video with no wobble. The camera is available in two versions: a 67 lens for closed-roof cars and an 84 lens for karts, open-roof, and formula cars. This camera features automatic start and stop recording, automatic track selection, and rear-mounted colour TFT display. It also offers higher storage capacity using a compression system optimized to provide the perfect balance between video quality and file size. The SmartyCam 3 Sport is powered by an internal rechargeable Lithium battery, which can be recharged via a vehicles power supply. Options available include different lens sizes with varying CAN connection cable lengths, as well as a 2-way data hub that allows for external power connection to eliminate the risk of battery drain.
