These OBP Universal Aluminium Baffled Fuel Tanks, with a capacity of 8 gallons, are engineered meticulously in the UK to provide optimal performance. The tanks' built-in baffles minimise fuel slosh and surge, ensuring smooth fuel delivery even during aggressive driving conditions. Each tank is equipped with a 1 x fuel pipe outlet, 1 x fuel pipe return, 1 x breather outlet, and a 50mm filler neck with a screw cap and seal for secure fuel containment. The fuel pipe fittings come in two options: 10mm push-on or AN -10 JIC, catering to various vehicle configurations. The internally baffled design of these tanks enhances stability during cornering and improves handling by minimising fuel shift. They are ideal for kit cars, resto-mods, or custom builds seeking reliable fuel management. The 50mm filler neck with screw cap and seal ensures easy refuelling and prevents spillage. In addition to these standard features, optional extras include a fuel level sender hole and / or a filler neck splash bowl for enhanced monitoring capabilities. For dash-mounted fuel level gauges, the tanks can be supplied with a pre-drilled fuel level sender hole. The dimensions of this 8 gallon tank are as follows: Height - 250mm (9.84 inches), Width - 300mm (11.81 inches), and Length - 480mm (18.89 inches). It is not foam filled for ease of installation and maintenance.
