Product Name: Seals-It Firewall Grommet Seals - Triple Hole, 8.5" OD, Black These firewall grommet seals from Seals-It are specially designed to prevent smoke and fumes from entering the cockpit while safeguarding your fuel, oil, and other fluid lines and wiring against chafing and wear on rough surfaces during operation. Suitable for a range of applications, they offer a professional finishing touch to all through panel installations. The triple hole design allows for easy installation without the need to disassemble existing hoses, as the flexible rubber grommets allow fittings to pass through them. Crafted from flame retardant nitrile and bonded to an anodised aluminium backing plate, these firewall grommet seals provide both durability and reliability. They can be easily secured to a panel or bulkhead using bolts or rivets, thanks to the drilled holes on the backing plate. To ensure the correct size for your specific application, it's essential to choose a grommet seal where the hole diameter is 1.5-3.2mm smaller than the hose or wiring diameter, and the rubber outer dimension is 10mm larger than the largest part of the assembly to be passed through (usually the hose end fitting). For hassle-free installation, it's recommended that you apply a lubricant such as petroleum jelly or silicone grease on the lines before passing them through the grommet.
