The Mocal Billet Oil Sandwich Plate is designed to provide an efficient oil feed and return system for remote oil devices such as oil coolers, particularly suitable for vehicles with spin-on oil filters. This plate fits seamlessly between the oil filter and engine, using a male/female centre bolt to secure it in place. It also allows the oil filter to be screwed into the plate. The plate features two 1/8" NPT ports, specifically designed to accommodate sender units (thermostatic plates have only one port). This provides an efficient way to connect external oil coolers, using M22 x 1.5 female ports. A range of adaptors is available separately to cater to various plumbing options. The robust billet aluminium construction makes it suitable for engines with screw-on oil filters. Options are available for most engine types, and the plate includes take-off port(s) for fitting sender units.
