The Mocal Billet Oil Sandwich Plate is designed to provide an efficient oil feed and return system for remote oil coolers on vehicles with spin-on oil filters. This plate fits between the oil filter and engine, screwing into place via a male/female centre bolt that also allows the oil filter to be screwed into the plate. The plate features two x female 1/8" NPT ports, allowing the fitment of sender units, which are ideal for external oil coolers. The M22 x 1.5 female ports provide an efficient way to connect the oil feed and return system. A range of adaptors is available separately to suit various plumbing options. The robust billet aluminium construction makes it suitable for engines with screw-on oil filters. This plate is designed to be versatile, providing options for most engine types, including a take-off port for fitting sender units. The sandwich plates are available with different oil filter thread types to suit various engines. For instance, the 3/4" UNF plate is compatible with BMW, Most Fords, VAG Group, and Toyota, while the 5/8" UNF plate is suitable for BMC A-series RWD (Sprite, Midget, Marina, Ital, Minor), Rover K-series, Austin Montego/ Maestro (O series engine), Buick (1959-1977), Cadillac V6 (1970 on), Oldsmobile (1960 on, excluding V6), Pontiac (1968-1978). The 13/16" UNF plate is designed for Rover K-series, Austin Montego/Maestro (O series engine), Buick (1959-1977), Cadillac V6 (1970 on), Oldsmobile (1960 on, excluding V6), Pontiac (1968-1978). The M16 x 1.5 plate is compatible with Talbot, Simca Peugeot 1.1 litre, while the M18 x 1.5 plate is suitable for Vauxhall, Opel, American V8. The M20 x 1.5 plate is designed for Citroen, Peugeot XU, TU, Subaru Impreza, Honda Civic/Integra Type R, Mazda, Renault, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo.
