The G-Heat Engine Pre-Heater has been endorsed by top race and rally teams as well as renowned engine builders. This industrial heater features an integral pump, adjustable thermostat (0-80°C), and internal protective thermostat with manual reset.
Two versions of the G-heat are available: G-Heat Team, supplied with professional G-link dry break connections and Kevlar braided convoluted hose; and G-Team Clubman, supplied with Staubli RMI dry break fittings and nitrile rubber hose with non-abrasive fibre braid. Both options include 2.5m long hoses, 2 x dry break fittings, and 2 x aluminium weld on bosses for the fittings to attach to, as well as a 2-pin European plug.
The pre-heater kit comes in a military-spec flight case that provides ample room for the heater unit, hoses, and extras such as extension leads and power adaptors. The voltage is 230V, and the hose bore size is 16mm. This professional-grade solution significantly reduces engine wear on start-up, reduces strain on the battery and starter motor when starting the engine, and allows the engine to reach a working temperature without running.
