The Alpinestars GP Pro Comp V2 Race Suit has been developed to meet the stringent FIA 8856-2018 homologation, providing increased flame and heat protection while maintaining its light weight and exceptional comfort levels. This suit features a specially designed outer shell that provides optimal protection while being lightweight. The lining of the suit is made from a soft Aramidic knitted material with an open weave for superb comfort levels. The stretchable mesh panels allow for increased breath-ability, which aids in body temperature regulation. The silicone grip technology used on the shoulder and lower back areas reduces the movement of FHR devices and helps prevent body movement within the seat. The suit also features a Formula 1 derived cable opening with self-closing flap to facilitate comms wiring or cooling vest tubing. Fully floating sleeves and stretch mesh panels located on the lower back and crotch areas allow for enhanced flexibility. The tall, ribbed collar enhances the comfort level further. This race suit has been FIA approved, meeting the 8856-2018 standards with a material weight of 345 g/m. The three-layer construction provides exceptional protection while maintaining its light weight and comfort levels.
