This upgraded version of the race suit offers improved performance while maintaining its light weight and exceptional comfort. The outer shell is specifically developed by Alpinestars to provide optimal protection while keeping the suit lightweight and offering excellent heat and flame resistance. The knitted lining features an open weave pattern, allowing for superb comfort levels and increased breath-ability. This is further enhanced by the stretchable mesh panels located on the lower back and crotch areas, providing flexibility and aiding body temperature regulation. The suit incorporates silicone grip technology on the shoulder and lower back areas to reduce movement of FHR devices and minimize body movement within the seat. Additionally, the Formula 1-derived cable opening with self-closing flap facilitates comms wiring or cooling vest tubing. The fully floating sleeves and stretch mesh panels provide enhanced flexibility, while the tall, ribbed collar enhances comfort. This three-layer material (345 g/m) is FIA 8856-2018 approved, ensuring it meets the stringent safety standards.
