The AIM Motorsport SW4 Formula steering wheel, designed for single seat race cars, is available in two sizes: 270mm and 280mm. The wheel boasts an integral dash display that includes a 4.3-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 800x480 pixels. The dash display features a 4GB internal data logger that connects to an ECU via CAN, enabling the logging and displaying of various parameters on its customisable user interface. The wheel is available with or without gear shift paddles. Separately purchased clutch paddle kits are compatible for added convenience. The dash display also includes four configurable RGB LED shift lights and four RGB alarm LEDs to provide essential visual cues during driving. With 13 buttons and rotary switches, the SW4 Formula steering wheel offers comprehensive driver control. The ECU CAN connection supports over 2000 protocols, allowing for compatibility with over 1000 different ECU models. The versatile design of the SW4 Formula steering wheel allows for customisation, including RGB lighting for buttons and rotary switches. Configuration and data analysis can be achieved through AIM's Race Studio 3 software, making it suitable for any driver's needs. The SW4 wheel features three CAN connections, enabling expansion for various accessories such as GPS modules for lap timing and track mapping, SmartyCam for video recording with overlaid data, Lambda controllers for air/fuel ratio monitoring, TC Hubs for temperature inputs, channel expansion for additional input channels, and memory module upgrades for increased data logging capacity. With removable hand grips for easy replacement, the SW4 Formula steering wheel is compatible with most brands of quick-release bosses through its 3 x 50.8mm PCD bolt pattern. This makes it an ideal choice for car enthusiasts seeking a high-performance and adaptable steering solution.
