A detailed instructional guide is provided, along with a CD containing additional information and images of the completed cage fitted in the vehicle. The roll cage attaches to multiple points on the body shell, ensuring increased safety and rigidity for competition use. Compliant with Motorsport UK regulations, some cages are also FIA-approved (see specific notes for details). The comprehensive kit includes an instructional CD, making it ideal for motorsport or serious track day cars. In the world of motorsport, safety is paramount. The latest roll cage designs have become increasingly sophisticated, and Custom Cages works closely with the FIA and Motorsport UK to ensure all its cage designs meet the latest technical regulations. To verify that a roll cage has been designed to meet MSA and FIA technical regulations, competitors may need a roll cage certificate or Letter of Conformity. A certificate is issued from Custom Cages once a weld sample is completed, verifying the competence of the installer. The Lightweight Multi Point Roll Cage Specification includes features such as: * Designed for most Motorsport applications, including international use * Tubes made from lightweight T45 steel * Minimum of 8 mounting points * Complete with cross door bars and cross diagonals * Tunnel brace bars, harness bars, and front triangulation to the strut turrets Please note that the Custom Cages weld in roll cages are self-fit cages and should only be installed by professional car preparers or a highly skilled welder. MIG or TIG welding are the preferred methods.
