Revo's DSG/S-Tronic Performance Software Upgrade Stage 2 is designed to unlock the full potential of your vehicle, allowing you to harness its increased power and enjoy enhanced control. This software upgrade is specifically tailored for cars with DSG and S-Tronic gearboxes, providing a comprehensive performance enhancement. The automatic gearbox shift speed is improved, unlocking launch control capabilities and enabling higher revs in sport modes beyond standard automatic shifting. This allows the engine to stay within its most effective operating range for longer, resulting in a smoother and more responsive driving experience. By increasing the shift point to around 7000rpm (model dependent), you can take advantage of the engine's most effective operating range, allowing it to stay in its most effective zone for longer. For vehicles with launch control, the upshift range has been increased to 3200rpm for FWD models and 4000rpm for 4WD models, providing a swifter and more effective start. The software upgrade also allows you to apply a custom launch RPM if desired. Moreover, it increases the shift point from immediately after launching to 7000rpm, giving you more control over your driving experience. In Manual Mode, the automatic shifting feature is disabled, allowing you to fully control when up and downshifts occur. Kick-down in Manual Mode has also been disabled, providing you with more control when opening up the throttle or attempting overtakes. This means you can hold gear through corners without fear of an upshift knocking you off balance. The Gear Shift Indicator will display in Gear display when possible, as not all vehicles have this feature enabled. The shift maps are based on the most effective factory sport maps and given a Revo enhancement. With this software upgrade, you'll experience faster and more accurate gear shifting, eliminating double shifting and improving your overall driving involvement and experience. Acquiring this software upgrade will enable your vehicle to handle the performance increase that comes with a remapped engine. The DSG software increases the Torque limit set by the factory to 500Nm, which is a software limit not a hardware limit. The vehicle will still operate within a safe range. This software upgrade is designed for cars with hardware modifications such as K04 Stage2+. It fully utilizes turbo upgrades, enabling the engine to hold onto the revs higher in every gear and providing a larger powerband.
