The AIM Motorsport MyChron5 S 2T Dash Logger / Kart Lap Timer is an advanced performance monitoring tool designed for kart racing enthusiasts. With a redesigned Wi-Fi module, it offers five times faster data download speeds and features a powerful processor that's two times faster than its predecessor. The built-in 25Hz GPS provides precise lap timing and track positioning with an accuracy of up to 45 cm (1.5 ft). This device records and displays kart engine parameters, including speed, lap times, gear position, temperature, rpm, and data from optional accessories such as the LCU-One Lambda Controller and MyChron Expansion module. The MyChron5 S 2T comes with two temperature sensor inputs, allowing you to measure water temperature, under-spark plug cylinder head temperature (CHT), or exhaust gas temperature (EGT). The supplied sensors include one M5 or M10 water temperature sensor, an under plug CHT sensor, or an EGT sensor. An additional second sensor can be connected using the included dual/splitter patch lead, available in Black/Yellow, Black/Black, or Yellow/Yellow configurations. This enables monitoring of both water temperature and EGT or CHT. With 7 configurable display colours for easy readability, this device presents lap times, lap number, RPM, and one temperature value. Post-race analysis is simplified with the downloadable data, which can be viewed using the professional Race Studio software (free to download). Suitable for beginners to professionals, this versatile system offers data acquisition solutions tailored to your track performance. Its robust housing, wide display, and rechargeable lithium battery make it an essential tool for any serious kart racer. Additional features include shift light and alarm LEDs, calculated gear number, configurable pages, ambient light sensor, and WiFi connectivity for online measures and firmware upgrades. Expansion options include the LCU-One Lambda controller, MyChron Expansion module, and SmartyCam HD camera for real-time video data overlays.
