The AIM Motorsport MyChron5 S 2T Dash Logger / Kart Lap Timer is a state-of-the-art racing tool, designed specifically for kart enthusiasts. With its enhanced capabilities, this device provides precise data acquisition and lap timing functionality for optimal performance on the track. The latest version of the MyChron5 S 2T features an advanced 25Hz GPS system, offering improved accuracy down to 45cm (1.5ft), allowing you to gain valuable insights into your driving techniques and vehicle dynamics. The redesigned Wi-Fi module delivers five times faster data downloads, enabling quicker post-race analysis with the professional Race Studio software (free to download). The device boasts a more powerful processor, ensuring smooth operation and the capacity for future firmware upgrades. With its 9-axis inertial platform, the MyChron5 S 2T is capable of calculating a wide range of useful math channels, enhancing your understanding of your vehicle's performance and allowing you to make informed decisions on the track. This versatile system logs and displays essential parameters such as speed, lap times (including split times), gear, temperature, rpm, and additional data from compatible sensors like the LCU-One Lambda Controller and MyChron Expansion module. The MyChron5 S 2T features two temperature sensor inputs, which can be configured to measure water temperature, cylinder head temperature (CHT), or exhaust gas temperature (EGT) using included M5 or M10 sensors. The optional second temperature sensor can be connected via a dual/splitter patch lead, available in Black (BKL), Blue (BLU), Red (RDS), or Yellow (YEL) colours. The rugged housing and wider display ensure excellent readability under diverse lighting conditions, while the anti-reflective polycarbonate screen and metallic push buttons provide added resistance to shocks and water. The rechargeable lithium battery offers up to 10 hours of operation on a single charge, with an optional external power lead connection available for continuous use. MyChron5 S 2T also features five configurable RGB shift lights, which can be customised to indicate gear number or RPM thresholds. These lights provide real-time feedback and help you monitor your progress during the race. The device's ambient light sensor automatically adjusts brightness according to environmental conditions for optimal visibility. In addition to these features, the MyChron5 S 2T offers seamless integration with the SmartyCam HD camera (sold separately), allowing you to capture professional videos with real-time data overlays and share your experiences with others.
