The Pro Short Shifter also features a lockout reverse mechanism to prevent accidental gear shifts, while its taller handle - standing at 370mm above the tunnel compared to the standard shifter's 300mm - offers improved reachability from your driving position for even quicker gear changes. The mechanical gear change remains consistent with the manufacturer's setup, but with a significantly reduced throw, resulting in faster and more accurate gear transitions.
