The Coolerworx Pro Short Shifter - Top Mount offers a 40% reduction in throw between gears, enabling drivers to experience quicker and more ergonomic gear changes. Suitable for all standard gearboxes, it replaces the original gear shifters while maintaining compatibility with OEM gear linkages and bolts. Constructed from high-grade aluminium and equipped with Teflon bearings, this top-mount variant offers a solid feel and reliable performance. To accommodate the cable routing through the interior, a drill hole is required in the tunnel. Each shifter is hand-assembled and features a lockout reverse gear system to prevent accidental gear shifts. The metal parts are anodised for corrosion protection, ensuring longevity and maintaining a visually appealing appearance. This short throw shifter adheres to the standard H pattern and incorporates lockable gears that prevent accidental reverse engagement. With its long handle, it can be easily accessed from the steering wheel for swift gear changes. Despite retaining the same mechanical gear change as the manufacturer, this Pro model significantly shortens shift distances for more responsive and precise gear transitions. The shifter comes equipped with a black base and black gear knob; Coolerworx offers replacement gear knobs in various colours for personalised customisation (sold separately). The Pro version of this shifter features a taller handle that sits 370mm above the tunnel, compared to the standard model's 300mm height. Additionally, it includes a self-centring spring that maintains optimal shifter tension and keeps it centred at all times.
